Having the right to vote is a beautiful thing. This poster, designed for AIGA's Get Out The Vote 2016 campaign, is about taking a moment to appreciate that right today, and taking a moment to exercise that right on November 8th, 2016. This work was featured on the instagram feeds of @aigany and @aigaboston.
The visual brand identity and promotional items designed for bespoke jewelry company Cuffed by Nano.
Concepted and produced the new website for medical tech company StoreMyTumor. While creating the rebranded website for StoreMyTumor, I also designed a flat icon set to be used both on the site and in printed marketing materials.
These perfect bound doodle books are an experiment in bookmaking and pattern creation. The covers were silkscreen-printed by hand, and the interior pages are made from acid-free archival paper. Extra sketchbooks can be purchased at lolopaper.etsy.com.
A comprehensive brand identity package for a café and health foods store called Catch a Healthy Habit. This visual identity is a rebrand of a pre-existing company, reimagining the company's logo, business cards, loyalty cards, packaging, and menus. The history of the company — which was co-founded by a husband and wife duo — is evoked on several pieces, as their silhouettes are embedded within the apple core that graces the packaging. All promotional products were designed to be produced with recycled materials, a move consistent with the brand's outlook.
The photographs to the right are an attempt to reconcile my experiences in Durham, North Carolina, a small but rapidly-growing city centered around Duke University, with those of the migrant farm-working community in Dunn, North Carolina – a rural town some 65 miles south. These contact prints were made using a classic view camera and 4x5" Kodak film sheets.
A study of the local naturally occuring colors on display at the Durham Farmers’ Market in downtown Durham and the Carrboro Farmers’ Market in Chapel Hill. The local farmers and artisans that attend these markets each week are all based within a 70-mile radius. These images are meant to capture the rich communities that thrive in these two markets, located only 16 miles away from each other in North Carolina’s Research Triangle.
